Mooring and Offset Anchor
Unlike conventional mooring systems that can damage marine habitat, the new and eco-friendly EzyRider Mooring and Offset Anchor has virtually no impact on the marine environment, says the manufacturer.
EzyRider has no moving parts and fewer connection points, which minimizes wear and maintenance, and the self-centering action reduces vessel swing room by half. The system uses buoyancy and tensioned rubbers help dissipate energy, which eliminates any uncomfortable jerking motions. The EzyRider Mooring can be installed with various anchoring systems, in different applications and in most marine locations. Depending on vessel size (46 to 82 feet), EzyRider systems range from $2,150 to $2,850, excluding anchors, chain and installation. An American distributor is expected to be named soon.
