The SoliCharger-SP by Sol Light is a carrying case, solar charger and amplified speaker system rolled into one. It works with virtually any cell phone, iPod, MP3 player and even Sony PlayStation, according to the manufacturer.
It can charge through sunlight or from a 110 AC outlet, a 12V car adapter or a USB port on a computer. When the amplified speakers are plugged in, the SoliCharger becomes a tiny portable sound system. It retails for $59.95. Sol Light, Hood River, Ore., (888) 557-6464.
