Guide to Chris-Craft
Chris-Craft boat lovers are sure to delve into Anthony Mollica and Jack Savage’s “Chris-Craft Boats” ($27.50, Voyageur Press, 2009) the new paperback version of the 2001 book.
Filled with modern and vivid color photography as well as classic black-and-whites, the book depicts the restored and factory-original Chris-Craft powerboats. The book offers a comprehensive history and guide to these popular recreational boats of the 20th century. It focuses on the 50 years from 1922-1972.
Anthony Mollica is also the author of “Gar Wood Boats.” He is the trustee of the Antique Boat Museum in Clayton, N.Y., and has served as the director and judge for the Antique and Classic Boat Society.
Jack Savage is a Chris-Craft historian and author.
