Sailing in many eras
With more than 80 years of sailing and management activity in seven America's Cup campaigns, one could say that Edward du Moulin was the consummate sailor.
($34.95, Herreshoff Marine Museum Press
, 2008) is an account du Moulin wrote during the final two years of his life and was compiled for publication by his son, Richard. The hardcover oversized book features lush, full-color photos of du Moulin and other important people throughout his life. It also covers his four years of service during World War II and his 47 years on Wall Street.
Du Moulin died March 29, 2006, in his home in Sands Point, N.Y., and the end of the book includes tributes from family members and close friends.
