For some anglers, there's nothing more exciting than finding a stretch of water boiling with fish feeding on the surface. Just cast into the thick of it, and a fish will strike after the first few cranks of your reel.
That's the scene in this video taken off Montauk, N.Y., on Long Island — a great area for striped bass, bluefish and albacore in the fall.
Click here to watch the fall blitz, a massive feeding frenzy during migration periods for certain fish species.
The cameraman who took this video has had his fill of fall "albie" (albacore) blitzes, so he decided to record the event instead of participating. I'm sure he eventually packed away the camera and picked up a rod, though. Who could resist?
