“Indiana Outdoor Adventures” is a weekly fishing, hunting and outdoors show broadcast on seven television stations throughout Indiana and Kentucky and nationally on satellite TV.
While filming an episode on the Wabash River, hosts Troy McCormick and Mac Spainhour had a good old time watching silver carp leap from the water — and often into their moving boat.
The crew filmed 19 carp jumping into their boat.

Despite the fun, silver carp — a variety of Asian carp — are an invasive species introduced in the United States in the 1970s at fish farms, from which they escaped and flourished in the wild at the expense of native marine life.
They also pose an obvious threat to boaters and have been blamed for broken noses and other blunt-impact injuries.
