November 30 Noble Art Auction at The Noble Maritime Collection, Staten Island, N.Y., begins at 6:30 p.m. Friday with cocktails, light supper, and a chance to peruse the artwork. Auction by Chris Olert at 8:00 p.m. Proceeds benefit the Noble Maritime Collection's on-going operations. The art to be auctioned may be previewed Thursdays through Sundays at the museum from 1:00-5:00 p.m. beginning October 7. An online catalog can be viewed at www.noblemaritime.org.  (718) 447-6490.
