SwissBike folding bicycles

bikeSwissBike, a division of Montague Corp., offers three new performance-oriented folding bicycles with high-grade components - Sram or Shimano 24-speed and 21-speed drive trains and CLIX quick wheel release.

All three models - XO, LX and TX - have 26-inch wheels like a typical mountain bike, making them faster, more efficient and more forgiving than folding bikes with smaller wheels, the company says. Other features include light aluminum tubing, stainless-steel spokes and compact size for stowing in the lazarette. The top-of-the-line XO (pictured) is made in Switzerland and retails for $1,995; the LX and TX are offered for $825 and $645, respectively. SwissBike, Cambridge, Mass. As someone that has ridden the SwissBikes, I can attest to the quality and fun of riding these full size folding mountain bikes; however, the info you posted is about to be outdated.

In 2010, all 3 of the models you mentioned will be phased out. For complete details, see...
