You're going to notice many new and improved features in Soundings starting with the May issue. We've just finished a complete refit and can't wait to show it off. It will start arriving in subscribers' mailboxes in mid-April, but here's a sneak peak.

Best of luck with your new format, but I also worry that this has been done before I.e. with the Late "offshore Mag". I always liked the large Sounding format it did stand out from the crowd. been a reader for many years, lets hope
for the best.

Great to hear that you are making changes in Soundings, especially the size. I sometimes take Soundings with me on a trip and it's always ackward to read on an airline.

Looking forward to the new format, especially the smaller size. When my US Power Squadron students ask which is a good magazine to buy and learn from, Soundings is always my first answer. Keep up the good work

Kenneth, 9x10.7/8 is not a tablet size. if you take the ipad screen size and if you are resizing your print magazine to work with ipad you would have to resize to 9x12.

Lets's hope the changes don't reflect the fate of Off Shore.
