Kids go free on Statue of Liberty cruises
Posted on 18 July 2012
This summer, families can plan a night out on one of eight Summer Evenings at the Statue of Liberty — and children ages 12 and under go free. This is the first time during Statue Cruises' Summer Evenings Series has offered free admission for kids.
Families can enjoy easier access to the Statue of Liberty, spectacular views of New York Harbor, a sunset cruise and also learn about the history of Lady Liberty by taking a tour with a Park Ranger.
Parent tickets are also a bargain at $24.95 with senior tickets priced at $19.95.
Summer Evenings at the Statue of Liberty continue every Thursday through Aug. 30, with departures from Battery Park at 6 p.m. Families will disembark on Liberty Island where they can spend up to two hours exploring the island and kids can enjoy the Junior Ranger Program.
Families can also photograph the Statue of Liberty as the sun sets in the background or enjoy a nice picnic at their leisure. Dinner is also available for purchase on Liberty Island.
Only a limited number of seats are available for each Summer Evening at the Statue of Liberty.
Reservations are recommended. To reserve tickets in advance, please visit www.statuecruises.com or call (201) 604-2800.
