Potential wind energy lease off Massachusetts

The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management issued a notice stating that it prepared an assessment of environmental impacts and socioeconomic effects of issuing renewable energy leases in a designated Wind Energy Area on the outer continental shelf offshore Massachusetts.
Public informational meetings will be held in Boston (Nov. 13); New Bedford (Nov. 13); Martha’s Vineyard (Nov. 14); and Nantucket (Nov. 15).
