The U.S. Coast Guard's Office of the Auxiliary and Boating Safety has officially launched its redesigned Boating Safety website to provide easier navigation for recreational boaters to locate the information they need.

Reps. Bob Goodlatte, R-Va., Peter Welch, D-Vt., Steve Womack, R-Ark., and Jim Costa D-Calif., introduced the Renewable Fuel Standard Reform Act, which would reform the biofuel mandate.
Welch called the original renewable fuel legislation “a well-intentioned flop” in a statement announcing the bill.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is a proposing dredging project in Massachusetts’ Cape Cod Canal that they say will make safer conditions in the channel and could possibly move the dredged sand to Town Neck Beach in Sandwich, according to a statement from the Corps.
