New American Tug 49

The success of the American Tug 41 is followed with the new AT 49, which features the same semidisplacement hull, but the extra 8 feet and 15-foot, 10-inch beam allows more spacious helm, salon and dinette areas.

The AT 49 includes a standard hydraulic system for powering the bow and stern thrusters, and the windlass. Standard mechanical features include a genset, oil change system and hydraulic crane for the dinghy. A single Volvo D-9 (575 hp) is standard. Fuel capacity is 800 gallons.

Also of note is sapele wood joinery throughout, a sapele and maple sole in the galley, two staterooms with en-suite heads and full sized showers, and roomy salon and helm areas. A standard diesel furnace or air-conditioning/heating system, washer/dryer and watermaker add to comfort.

The base price for the American Tug 49 is $929,000.
