Fans of the America’s Cup and fine timepieces should check out Panerai’s special edition Luminor Marina 1950 America’s Cup 3 Days Automatic watch.
It is, after all, the official watch of the 35th running of this storied event, taking place later this year in Bermuda. Panerai took inspiration for the design from a model it produced for the Italian navy. The case is made from AISI 316L brushed stainless, and the movement is mechanical, with a power reserve of three days. A lever protects the crown from shock and exerts light pressure to guarantee water resistance to a depth of about 985 feet. Panerai limited production to 300 watches. $11,200.
