AxonRF, Inc. introduced the nowire Wireless Tank Monitoring System, which eliminates cumbersome wires between the tank sensors and the display panel.
It complies to the IEEE 802.15.4 standard and can be retrofitted, because it is “easy to install, very reliable and requires no special tools or knowledge,” according to the manufacturer. The system’s sensors read through plastic tanks commonly used for pure, gray and black water, which eliminates the task of cutting holes into the tanks. This also eliminates the need for calibrating, cleaning or servicing them. The nowire tank monitoring system can be powered by 12/24V DC house power or two AA batteries and can be expanded to work with up to three tanks and four displays. Retail prices for a single tank kit start at $199.50. AxonRF, Kirkland, Wash. Phone (425) 298-8046. www.axonrf.com
