Raymarine’s Magnum open-array radar offers enhanced target tracking and image detail in a pedestal built to withstand the marine environment. It’s available in 4-kW or 12-kW power options and has a maximum target identification range of 72 nautical miles (4 kW) and 96 nautical miles (12 kW). Birds can be seen from 10 nautical miles, and beam-sharpening technology delivers better than 1-degree bearing resolution for detailed target separation, map-like coastal detail and long-range performance. Prices start at $4,699. raymarine.com/magnum
