Garmin’s Panoptix transducer for fishfinders now can be mounted flush on adjustable Livorsi trim tabs, smoothing water flow and avoiding the need to cut the hull.

The company says readings may be acquired at speeds of as much as 30 mph. Compatible with a variety of Garmin chartplotters, the complete Livorsi 1050 trim tab kit, including Panoptix transducer, retails for $3,200. Livorsi Marine Inc., Grayslake, Illinois, (877) 548-5900.
