A 44-foot yacht that sank in late July south of Wychmere Harbor in Harwich, Mass., after a fire was brought up from the bottom Wednesday in a 17-hour salvage operation.

Contractor Chip Niehoff of Hyannisport-based AGL Mooring supervised divers who attached flotation bags that lifted the burned boat off the bottom, according to a report in the Cape Cod Times. The damaged yacht was then towed to Saquatucket Harbor.
