Abraham Lincoln, boater?

A man, a legend, a hero. Abraham Lincoln has been touted all of these things during his time as president, but a Washington, D.C., man has recently become well acquainted with Lincoln, the boater.
In celebration of Thursday’s bicentennial of Lincoln’s birthday, Ron Drake replicated a journey the former president took in his younger days. Last fall he traveled from Rockport, Ind., to New Orleans, La., aboard a handmade 60-foot wooden flatboat.
