Alcohol not involved in deadly boat crash

Investigators don't know exactly what caused a boat crash that took the lives of a mother, a father and an unborn child, but they said the two-craft collision was not the result of an overloaded boat, alcohol or drugs.

The probe into the Memorial Day crash at Florida's Ponce Inlet is in an early stage, but investigators seemed to rule out some of the early speculative reasons leading to the fatalities. Now they're focusing on the heavy boat traffic and changing speed zones as potential contributing factors.
