Angler cold, but uninjured, after night on water

Emergency workers rescued a 70-year-old Louisville man Thursday from his disabled boat in a Kentucky creek.

"He was out fishing in the dark and got disoriented and hit some rocks and got stuck," said Blount County Fire Department Capt. Jim Patty.

The angler reportedly sounded his boat horn and shined his boat spotlight around trying to attract attention, but when his battery died, he was left to hope someone would see him and send aid.
