Another tsunami boat washes ashore

An Alaskan couple has found what could be the largest item to reach Alaska in the wake of the March 2011 tsunami — a 24-foot fiberglass boat.

The couple was beachcombing last weekend when they spotted the skiff, upside down and covered with sea growth.

"We started thinking: Could this be debris from the tsunami?" the wife told The Anchorage Daily News. "So we went back to the boat with some scrapers and, sure enough, the name was written in Japanese."
