Antique boat show displays classics

Antique boat lovers were in for a rare treat last weekend at the Connecticut River Museum in Essex, Conn., where 30 or so vintage wooden boats were docked awaiting judging at the 26th annual Mahogany Memories Antique and Classic Boat Show.

The big winner of the day was a 20-foot 1950 Chris-Craft Riviera with a 58-hp engine that has all of its original parts and sparkles like a diamond - gleaming mahogany and chrome.
