Audio podcasts available from Raymarine

OCT. 19 — Raymarine has launched a podcast series, featuring interviews with fishing and boating experts and celebrities from throughout the country.

Each of the 15-to-30-minute audio recordings will focus on a specific topic, ranging from trends in marine electronics to professional tips and tricks for fishing large game. The podcasts are available for download from Raymarine's Web site,, where new recordings will be posted on a regular basis.

"At Raymarine we strive to use the latest technology, whether it's with our products or the way we communicate with our customers, dealers and partners," Todd Hoskins, senior vice president of marketing, said in a statement. "With 9 million U.S. adults downloading podcasts every month, we feel this series will be an excellent channel for the boating and fishing community, and are confident our listeners will agree."

The first podcast in the series is "Capt. Ray Rosher on Fishing with Multifunction Displays" and features Ray Rosher, veteran South Florida fishing guide.

Upcoming segments will feature Capt. Norm Isaacs, host of ESPN's "Raymarine’s Big Game Fishing the World," and former champion solo ocean racer Brad Van Liew.

Merrimack, N.H.-based Raymarine develops and manufactures a wide range of electronic equipment for the recreational boating and light commercial marine markets.
