Big catch costs fisherman cold swim to shore

A 46-year-old angler had a big walleye on his line Tuesday night as he fished from 16-foot boat. He was working to boat the fish when he tipped over the side and into the chilly lake water.

Once he realized he couldn't reach the boat, Mastro pulled the cord on his automatic life jacket and headed to shore - more than two football fields' length away.
