A center console crashed into a dock in front of a waterfront home in Moriches, N.Y., on Long Island, injuring three anglers.
The boat, a 31-foot Contender, crashed into the bulkhead of a waterfront property of a Crystal Beach Boulevard home just after 5:30 a.m.
Two of the three men on board were tossed into the water. The bow of the boat was left standing nearly 45 degrees above the water.
“Oh, they’re very lucky. It could have been a lot worse. The way that they hit the bowl kit and the rate of speed, I assume they were going pretty fast. They’re all very lucky to be in the condition that they are in,” fire chief Ron Primus told CBS News.
