There were 1,651 boats tied together last weekend on Lake Cumberland in Kentucky and officials say that breaks the world record for the number of boats tied up.
The official on-site judge for the event, Mike Janela, told the Lexington Herald-Leader that the Lake Cumberland Raft-Up broke the Guinness World Record for the largest boat tie-up.
The boats had to be connected in a single line for at least one minute with at least one person on board.
Janela said organizers of the event received a certificate after the participating boats were counted. He said the previous record was 1,454 boats.
