Boaters cling to capsized boat for 22 hours

Five North Carolina men clung to their capsized boat for 22 hours before a stranger rescued them last Friday morning 10 miles from Cape Lookout, according to the Coast Guard.

Another boater approached the men, wanting to ask them how the fish were biting, said a Coast Guard spokesman. That was before he realized it was upside down in the water. He ended up pulling the men onto his boat and taking the group to shore.

The Coast Guard said the men looked in good shape considering they spent 22 hours in the water.
