Boater's drowning tragic and ironic, 'a perfect ending'

The body of a Maine doctor, who was said to be an accomplished boater who studied tide charts and currents, was found on a Bar Harbor shore Thursday - wearing a life jacket. He had left his home there Tuesday to sail his 23-foot boat to a marina in Hancock, where he would leave it for the winter.
