A father of two young children owes his life - and the life of his young nephew - to his 5-year-old daughter.

On June 6, James Braaten, 31, his two daughters, ages 3 and 5, and his 1-year-old nephew were cruising aboard a 17-foot runabout on Lake Holcombe, about 60 miles northeast of Eau Claire, Wis., when his nephew fell overboard, according to a report by the Star Tribune.
