Bodies of missing fishermen recovered

Independent salvage divers Sunday recovered the bodies of the two remaining crewmembers missing since the Omega Protein pogy boat sank last week in the Gulf of Mexico off the coast of Mississippi in a collision with a container ship, authorities confirmed.

Harrison County Coroner Gary Hargrove identified the crewmen found Sunday as Rhoderick Watkins, 48, of Moss Point, Miss., and Thomas L. Moore, 65, of Havelock, N.C. Both men, Hargrove said, were found in cabins in the sunken vessel. The teams recovered Watkins’ body at 1:55 p.m. Sunday and pulled Moore’s body from the water about three hours later.
