Bombs found in lobster fishing area

Lobstermen are upset that the Coast Guard has closed off an area around Seal Island - about 20 miles off the coast of Maine - after an urchin diver found bomb shells and fragments on the ocean floor.

The island was used by the U.S. Navy as an aerial bombing range from the 1940s to the 1960s, according to an article in the Los Angeles Times.

The Coast Guard is taking comments on the closure until Dec. 31, according to the article.
