As a result of the recovering economy and sold-out shows, the Boston International In-Water Boat Show, to be held Sept. 30 through Oct. 3 at the World Trade Center, has expanded its in-water portion by 20 percent.
New docks will be purchased to accommodate a larger and more diverse group of in-water exhibits, which will include larger yachts, sailboats and trawlers. The event will feature most major powerboat manufacturers as well as a sailboat section that continues to grow each year.
The show will be held in a 100,000-plus-square-foot facility that houses boats and vendors, as well as over 3 acres of boats in-water.
