Boston terrorist-attack boat fundraiser reaches goal

The boat owner who found the surviving Boston bomber suspect hiding in his shrink-wrapped boat parked in his backyard, received an online outpouring of support.

“Over the last week, in a viral fundraiser, more than $50,000 was raised to replace his beloved boat ‘Slip Away II’ that was destroyed during the police standoff,” a spokesman for “Let’s Fix David Henneberry’s Boat” announced, according to a report by The Washington Post.

Trouble is, David Henneberry doesn’t want the money to replace his 24-foot Seabird, which was riddled with bullets during a police standoff April 19 with suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.
