Carolina Skiff announces two new lines

Smaller fish-boat builder Carolina Skiff recently announced two new boat lines: the all-new Sea Chaser Bay Runner series; and the Tunnel Hull Series.

Designed and manufactured by Carolina Skiff, the Bay Runner is a performance boat appointed with stylish looks and a high-level of standard features at an affordable price. The versatile series is ideal for fishing, cruising, diving and a wide variety of on-the-water fun.

“We completely redesigned the Sea Chaser Bay Runner to ensure unrivaled tracking, turning and acceleration, and the best price-performance possible,” Carolina Skiff CEO and president Joe Kirkland said in a statement. “It is an all-around boat for fun seeking individuals who will appreciate the attention to detail and loads of features we built in. We encourage boaters to give it a try and let the ride decide.”

Standard features of the Bay Runner include underwater LED lighting and a forward compartment with a five-gallon cast net bucket. Its comfortable new console is complete with full instrumentation and a large dash area for flush mount electronics. The new Sea Chaser console also offers a quick-release windshield and a toe kick.

The revolutionary Tunnel Hull Series boats are able to plane in approximately 3-inches of water, allowing anglers to boat and find fish in waters other boaters cannot reach. With a unique tunnel hull, wide 93-inch beam and a raised deck, the Tunnel Skiff Series is the ultimate shallow water fishing experience.

“Our new Tunnel Skiff Series delivers the ultimate in shallow water boating,” said Kirkland. “With the quality, features, attention to detail and affordability boaters have come to expect from Carolina Skiff, it is sure to be highly sought after by skinny water anglers. How shallow can you go?”

The Tunnel Skiff Series is available in 17-, 19-, 21- and 24-foot models and features a unique hull design for shallow water running. Designed for flats and other skinny water anglers, its wide 80-inch floor width and large, raised front and rear decks are ideal for maneuverability and working fish. The large console accommodates up to a 10-inch flush mount screen.
