Coast Guard Auxiliary Association names new president

The Board of the Coast Guard Auxiliary Association, the non-profit providing financial and other support to the Coast Guard Auxiliary and its volunteers, elected Gene Siebert of Virginia as its new president and chief operating officer.

In his new role, Siebert will oversee the day-to-day operations of the association including fundraising, finance, product development, and other functions.

Formerly the National Commodore of the Coast Guard Auxiliary, he has served as the chairman and CEO of the Coast Guard Auxiliary Association and was a member of the board of directors of the Coast Guard Foundation and the Association for Rescue at Sea, BoatUS and the United Safe Boating Institute.
