Coast Guard not alerted to capsize rescue


Four people were pulled from the ocean Sunday before the Coast Guard knew they were safe and the agency engaged in a search 27 miles from shore.

Full details about who was on the 20-foot boat were not immediately available, but Coast Guard spokeswoman Jessica Potter said all four were fine and rescued by another boater about 1 p.m. They were clinging to their overturned boat, Potter said.
