Coast Guard rescues three off North Carolina

The Coast Guard saved three people off the coast of North Carolina on Sunday after the boat they were in started taking on water about 40 miles southeast of Oregon Inlet.

The Coast Guard deployed an MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter and a 47-foot lifeboat.

Around 2 p.m., the boat crew caught sight of the 24-foot boat with three people aboard.
