As divers began to climb back aboard a dive boat off the New Jersey coast, one diver noticed another was missing.
The captain, who knew the experienced diver missing, went into search mode.
"We started looking around to see if she was drifting. The current was running a good half-knot, three-quarter knot, right into the sun," said Hank Garvin,.
Meanwhile, Wahrmann was adrift in the Atlantic Ocean, floating unseen with her survival equipment as fish swarmed about her.
