Dozens arrested at pirate festival

Tampa authorities reported fewer arrests Saturday compared with a year ago as an estimated 350,000 people converged on downtown Tampa for the Gasparilla celebration. Those included two felony arrests, 73 misdemeanors and four charges of boating under the influence. In one incident, a 40-foot boat returning from the festivities ran aground, leaving a man with a fractured arm and head laceration. Click here to read a report in Tampa Bay Online.
