Operating under a new safety plan, duck boats will return to the Delaware River in Philadelphia on Thursday for the first time since the accident last summer that killed two Hungarian tourists.

Among the details of the new safety plan, a rescue boat that will always be on docked much closer to the water portion of the ride, cruising will be 100 feet from shore (instead of 300), and the water portion of the tour will now last 10 to 15 minutes instead of 30.
