Eagle watches on the Connecticut River begin this week at the Connecticut Audubon Society and the Connecticut River Museum.
The Connecticut Audubon Society EcoTravel's eagle viewing boat rides start Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday through March 20. Boats depart from Eagle Landing State Park, Route 82, Haddam, at 9 and 11 a.m. and 1 and 3:15 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays and 10 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Complimentary coffee and tea are available on the boat, which has an enclosed, heated section and open deck. Guests are welcome to bring their own food and drink aboard.
