Environmentalist sails to help dolphins

Dolphin Spirit is an all carbon 43-foot trimaran with a 39-foot beam. Michael Reppy is an environmental activist attempting to break the record from San Francisco to Tokyo as a means to bring attention to the slaughter of dolphins in Tajii, Japan.

Click here for an interview with Reppy, who says his quest is breaking the solo sailing record from San Francisco to Tokyo "in dedication to ending the world's largest dolphin slaughter - more than 20,000 killed annually in Japan."
