On Sept. 19 and 20, Kingston, N.Y.'s Rondout Creek will again bustle with tugs and workboats as they gather to commemorate 200 years of commercial boating on the Hudson River.

The "Working on Water Boat Tour" will give visitors a chance to interact with the mariners and boats that today carry on the traditions of the rivermen of the past.

Historic tugboats, a covered wooden barge, World War II-era PT boat PT 728, steam launches and other historic craft will be tied up at docks and offer public tours and rides. Click here for the full report in the Poughkeepsie Journal.
