Family sues marina in electrocution death

The family of a teenager who was electrocuted while swimming at Clinch Park Marina in Traverse City, Mich., announced a lawsuit Wednesday against the city-owned marina.

Attorneys Geoffery Fieger and Dean Robb announced the filing of a $50 million lawsuit at a morning press conference.

In a statement, Fieger said bad wiring at the docks caused the teen’s death and that the marina knew about the problem before the accident.
