The owner and crew of the fishing vessel named Amy Philbrick are seeking a $200,000 salvage award for rescuing another fishing boat that parted from its mooring off the coast of Maine during a February storm and drifted, unmanned, for more than 100 miles.

"The next stop (for the drifting boat) probably would've been the Azores," Gloucester (Mass.) attorney Stephen Ouellette, who is representing the owner and crew of the Amy Philbrick, told SeacoastOnline.com. Ouellette said that when his clients rescued Xtreme Measures after a 10-day search for the fishing vessel, including by air, had been abandoned.
