Former president grounds his boat

Former President George H.W. Bush is a familiar sight every summer, piloting his speedboat along the coast near his Walker's Point estate in Kennebunkport, Maine.

Monday afternoon, though, the trip didn't end the way he planned.

Bush was piloting his 38-foot powerboat along the Kennebunk River when the fog started rolling in. The vessel got caught in a swell and was pushed against the beach, where it got stuck.
