The weather isn't the only thing that's heating up at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat show, which runs through Monday.
Crowds are strong and exhibitors are already reporting sales at this year's show, according to reports. "As of 20 minutes ago, online ticket sales were up 20 percent over last year," said Efrem "Skip" Zimbalist, president and CEO of Show Management, the event's organizer on Thursday - Prime Time Preview day.
The boost in consumer confidence is translating to a boost in excitement at this year's show, according to an article on MiamiHerald.com.
The show runs from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday. Tickets are $16 for adults, $3 for children 6-15, and free for children younger than 6.
