One of the biggest concerns on boaters’ minds this season is the ever-rising cost of fuel. One company is using this problem as a clever marketing incentive.
Ribcraft, designer of rigid inflatable boats (RIB), is offering free gas for the entire boating season if customers buy a 19-foot or larger RIB between May 15 and June 30, according to a company press release.
“Consumers have been shaken by the spike in fuel prices. There’s been a lot of talk about boaters staying ashore this coming season because of skyrocketing fuel prices,” says Brian Gray, president of Ribcraft in the release. “We don’t think gas prices should keep people away from doing what they love to do or have to do.”
Customers simply pick up their RIB and, upon purchase, will receive a $1,000 gas card. The company has experienced a growth in sales this year because their RIBs are lightweight and more fuel efficient, according to the release. Gray also says RIBs can be towed by smaller vehicles as well.
This offer is good for both recreational and professional customers. Ribcraft is known for supplying RIBs for safety professionals, military agencies and yacht clubs as well as recreational boaters worldwide. For information, go to www.ribcraftusa.com.
