Handicapped sailor is defying the odds

A British sailor hoping to become the first quadriplegic sailor to cross the Atlantic has reached the halfway point on his voyage despite problems with his boat, the aptly named Impossible Dream.

Geoff Holt, 42, set off Dec. 10 on the 2,700-mile trip from Lanzarote in the Canary Islands to the Caribbean.

He sent the BBC a video report about the journey so far.
